Hi I'm Daiki Sato

I grew up in Fukushima which is northern part of Japan. Now, I'm serving mission in Georgia Macon Mission. I love it!

About Me

I grew up in Fukushima which is northern part in Japan. Also, I grew up in the Mormon church. Christian religion is not common in Japan. Most of people in Japan is traditional Buddhist. I grew up in different situation from most of people in Japan. It was so difficult to believe God and live in this Gospel for me when I was young. When I was in junior high school and high school, I joined tennis team in the school. I felt comfortable not to go to church on Sunday and live in this Gospel. I felt more fun just hanging out with my friends and play tennis on Sunday. One day, I was in my room by myself. I just felt I'm lonely. Then, I thought I wanted to pray to God. I felt worm feeling that he is listening my prayer. It made me feel God is real. I realized I cannot have true happiness without God. All of fun that I feel from this world is just temporal. When I was 18, I decided to go to Brigham Young University Hawaii which is organized by church. As I lived in the Gospel everyday, I felt more good feeling, true happiness in my life. I decided to go on a mission as a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints when I was 19. Now, I'm serving in Georgia Macon Mission as a missionary. I love it. I can feel biggest joy every day as I share this massage of happiness to everyone. I know God, He lives and loves me. I'm a Japanese. I'm a tennis player. I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Mormon church. I was taught a lot of things as christian since I was young. As I grew up, a lot of doubts came up in mind. About God, his existence, Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith and so forth. It was difficult to believe everything for me. because I have never seen God. I have never met Joseph Smith. I have never seen evidence that God exists and Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I was taught everything, but I realized that I had never studied these things by myself. I decided to read Book of Mormon which is record of ancient american people, another testament of Jesus Christ. As I read, I felt my faith is increasing when I read all of the Book of Mormon. I prayed to God. If God, he exists, this is his church and he led Joseph Smith. I felt warm feeling that I can't explain. I felt love. I knew he is real and this church is his church. The Book of Mormon is ward of God. I'm a child of God. He loves me. I have confidence that this church is his church without any doubt in my mind. Through this church, I can return to God's presence after this life.

How I live my faith

We have an opportunity to go on a mission as a missionary. From age 18, boys can go on a mission for 2 years. Girls age from 19 can go on a mission for 1 year and half. I sacrificed this 2 years to share massage of Jesus Christ and serve others. 2 years is long time, mission is not easy(especially learning English part. haha) but, it's worth it. It's the best choice I have ever made in my life to share truth as a representative of Jesus Christ. I share everyone what I know about Jesus Christ and how I feel by living in his Gospel.

How can I know Mormonism is true?
