Hi I'm Ashley Holt

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, play tennis, hike, and just be outdoors. Spending time with family and friends is also one of my favorite things to do. In April 2012, I graduated with a degree in Behavioral Science with a Social work emphasis. I loved going to school and appreciate all the amazing experience I have had while being involved in the social work field.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints is true. It has taught me that I have a Savior who lives and loves me. I know that he understands us and our circumstances completely. I know that He wants to bless us because He wants us to be happy. I know that If we desire to have Him in our lives, and ask for His guidance, He will give us the people and the situations that we need. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that it is meant for us in this modern day. If we search the Book of Mormon, and apply its teachings in our lives, we will be blessed. I know that the Lord has given us a modern day prophet. I know that President Thomas S. Monson has been called of God, and that he receives revelation. I know that if we follow the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints our lives will be blessed.

How I live my faith

I recently had the opportunity to serve the girls in my ward (a ward is just a group of people who go to church together). While serving in this position, I taught lessons on Sunday, visited the girls in their apartments, and helped met any need that we were award of it. This calling was amazing because it gave me the opportunity to know and love the girls in my apartment complex. Currently, I am preparing to serve an LDS mission in Des Moines, Iowa. For eighteen months, I will teach people in Iowa about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am so grateful for this opportunity because I will get to share with people the message that they have a Savior.
