Hi I'm Catherine

I was born in New Jersey, raised in Eastern Pennsylvania. I am a 2010 BYU-Idaho Alumni. I love sports. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a young single adult who pursued and reached my life long dream to be the first to graduate college in my family. In the Summer of 2010 I graduated from Brigham Young University- Idaho ready to be a teacher! Almost as strong as my love for teaching and learning is my love of music, cooking, baking and writing- poems and stories. Growing up I was a member of the auxiliary marching units and later when on to coach them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was 3 when my parents made the decision to join the church. I was baptized a catholic but I had no choice to join the church at the tender age of 3. However, growing up I had experiences that lead me to test my faith and conviction to my religion. I have seen my life be blessed by being a member of this church. I have also been through the times when I was not so active and while life is never easy- I can tell you its been a bit easier with the church. That is why I choose and chose to be a Mormon. It means so much to be to have a loving Heavenly Father and my Saviour Jesus Christ to support and guide me along my life path.

How I live my faith

I love to serve and enjoy the time I get to spend with my middle school alma mater's bands and orchestra. If there is a chance for service then I am right there, especially with the youth. That's why I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I have to serve as a Visiting Teacher. Its a chance to get to minister to the needs and befriend another sister in my ward. I love being in the Relief Society presidency! Relief Society is comprised of women age 18 and older and is the largest group of women worldwide. We focus on strengthening women and families spiritually, emotionally and physically.
