Hi I'm Spencer

I grew up in the wonderful wilderness of Montana, but stayed inside watching movies all day. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

In high school I was a band geek and I loved it. I watched a lot of movies and tried making my own with some friends. I tried some sports, but it was terrible. I've done a couple of semesters in college and right now am majoring in Communications. I have no idea what that actually means though. Really I have no idea what I'm going to for a career, but that's ok because right now I'm serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I tried not being one and it didn't work. I was raised in the Church, but didn't really care for it and just planned no not really going once I went to college. But then I made the mistake of going somewhere full of Mormons. I saw how awesome they all were and the kindness they showed to me. As I didn't live the Gospel I had been taught, I noticed I didn't have the happiness that they had and I really wanted it. So I read the Book of Mormon and tried to live all the principles contained in it. Through that I discovered the love that Heavenly Father has for me, and that His son, Jesus Christ can help me lift my burdens and overcome my faults. There is no other lifestyle that could possibly make me as happy as being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others and being happy. Through this Gospel, I have come to love all of God's children and find joy in getting to know them and helping them find happiness. I also live my faith by constantly striving to become a more Christ-like person and learning from my mistakes. And I've learned to be grateful for everything that my Heavenly Father has blessed me with, and as I remember those things, it's hard not to be happy.
