Hi I'm Bryce

I'm an RM. I love to have fun. I'm competitive. I believe in hard work. I love Food & Exercising. I'm an Active Mormon

About Me

I was born in Cali. For the longest time while growing up I've been really shy and had a hard time socializing. Overtime, I've worked to overcome that; and now, I enjoy having conversations with people and trying new things and activities. I did wrestling for 3 years in High School and received several awards (However they all pale in comparison to my Eagle Award in Boy Scouts). I am very good with math and solving problems as well as repairing things. I also enjoy Camping, Rappelling, Knee-Boarding, Video games, Exercising/Martial Arts, and hanging out with friends. I also enjoy dancing, especially the Country Swing. I have served an Honorable 2-Year Mission from the Great Kentucky Louisville Mission (GKLM) and am truly grateful for my testimony building experiences.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a strong belief in Jesus Christ and I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon, through the power of God, from ancient records. The Book of Mormon is true scripture and, along with the Bible, it contains the fullness of the Everlasting Gospel. I have gained so much Happiness and Joy from this church and keeping the Commandments that God gives us. Even though many people question what we believe, or even "Bashes", everything can be answered by the Book of Mormon. Just like Moroni in "Moroni CH 10 vs 3-5", I Challenge you to read the Book of Mormon, with an open heart and as you read, ask yourself something like, "Is this book true?" and not something like, "How can I prove this book wrong?". Cause if your trying to prove us wrong..... just give up. Your wasting your time. I also know that the Prophet Joseph Smith Jr restored the same Priesthood Authority that was on the Earth almost 2000 years ago, and along with it: the Authority to perform saving Ordinances such as Baptism. One day, while my dad was out working, he threw his back out, and had a hard time with his job. Once I received the Priesthood, He asked me to give him a blessing. The next day after I gave him a blessing, his back was healed and the pain was gone. It wasn't coincidence, the Chiropractor even saw the condition of his back before I gave him a blessing and his disks were in really bad shape. He was even lucky to be walking (before the blessing).

How I live my faith

Even though I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, my parents never forced their faith upon me. I eventually gained my own testimony. After serving a full 2-year mission, my testimony has just strengthened, as well as my understanding of the scriptures. Now I try to do everything I can to stay Active and keep my testimony from decreasing. The best way I learned to say active and continue to strengthen my testimony is by doing 3 simple things: Attend Church Weekly, Read the Scriptures Daily, and Pray Often, which I like to call "Spiritual CPR". (Church, Pray, Read). Just like CPR saves us from drowning in water, Spiritual CPR saves us from 'drowning' in Sin (as well as anything that Satan throws at us). It also helps prevent your testimony from weakening. Just remember to do ALL 3 of them, any less just won't not do. The other thing to have NOTHING to do with Anti-Mormon literature. All it is are lies and twisted truths, and it's only purpose is to make you question everything about the church... and eventually leave the church. I know for myself that this church is the same as Jesus Christ organized while on the Earth, restored back to the Earth by Joseph Smith Jr after years and years of being lost. The Book of Mormon is an additional Witness to Jesus Christ and is scripture along with the Bible. Prophets are once again upon the Earth, acting as Stewart (spokesmen) for Jesus Christ. and I pray that those who read this who are members may stay in the church, or come back and be Active Mormons. As well as those who are not members may meet with the missionaries and hopefully gain your own testimony.

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is Another scripture that Testifies about Jesus Christ. It teaches the same doctrine as does the Bible. Both the Book of Mormon and the Bible (together) contains the Fullness of the Everlasting Gospel. The Bible even talks about the Book of Mormon and the Bible working together; it's in Ezekiel 37: 15-17. A 'Stick' of Judah (the Bible), and a 'Stick' of Joseph (the Book of Mormon) becoming ONE 'Stick' in your hand. The descendants of Joseph were the ones who wrote the Book. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Of Course. Throughout both the Old and New Testament, God has always chosen Prophets to teach the Gospel and lead his Children. Today is no different. We are no an exception. Show more Show less
