Hi I'm Benjamin Martin

I'm a runner, I'm serving a mission in Ohio Cincinnati, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I just love smiling! I love being happy! And I love my Savior! I am a nerd when it comes to running. I started running in 8th grade and ran all the way up until my mission. I ran for SUU (Southern Utah University) for my freshmen year. I also enjoy any outdoor activity! Hiking, swimming, cycling, rock climbing, kayaking... Anything to do with outdoors! I really enjoy reading the Book of Mormon. It's my best friend! I have one brother, he served his mission in Seattle Washington. He's been an amazing example to me! I am now serving a mission in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission... And let me tell you, this is the best 2 years of my LIFE!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that this is his church that he wants all of his children to be a part of. I am a Mormon because when I live the gospel taught by Jesus Christ I am the most happiest person on the face of this earth! I know that the only way to receive the fullness of the Atonement is through following Jesus Christ's example by being baptized. It's been a blessing to see others on my mission enter into the waters of baptism so that they can know say they are members of the Lord's church.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is mainly through my actions! I love reading the Book of Mormon. Since I've been on my mission I have really seen it change my life. I love seeing other people smile so another way I live my faith is through smiling! :) Rendering service is another great way. Being on a mission has really helped me learn new ways to live my faith so that my faith in Jesus Christ can increase.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Benjamin Martin
Why is family so important to me is because without them I wouldn't be where I am today. I am very thankful for the gift of having a loving mother and father in my life. My dad has always been there for me. Helping pay for college, watching me race at track meets, and helping me to never give up. I am very blessed to know that when he dies I will be able to see him once again. I know that family are together forever. Show more Show less
