Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in Utah. I've gone to a year of college and am now preparing to become a missionary. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I've completed 1 year of college in Utah. Now I am preparing to go on a mission. I like to play guitar, hike, camp, draw, and much more. I've been called to serve in the Philippines speaking Tagalog.

Why I am a Mormon

There was a time when I did ask myself if I really believed in the Book of Mormon and the L.D.S. church. I got lazy in high school and didn't always do the things I was supposed to. I began to grow terribly miserable and did not feel well with the things I'd done. I wasn't always taught by someone the exactness of right and wrong but when something doesn't feel right then you probably shouldn't be doing it. I prayed to know what was right and I received the answer. I worked very hard daily to read scripture and stay strong. My strength was not enough to overcome. I was given the strength I need but it was not my own, it was the strength of Heavenly Father and I thank him for all of it. It may not be easy to overcome our imperfections, but it is possible through steady progress and the atonement Jesus Christ has given to us. I know Christ lives and that he loves us dearly. I know that we can do anything with the Lord's help. All we need to do is let him into our lives.

How I live my faith

My whole life I've done service to the community as well as friends and family. Service is huge and really shows your love toward others. Right now I've been preparing myself so that I can give myself to others on my mission as I serve with love toward them. I am preparing myself for the people I teach. My mission is about the love of God and of the Savior. I increase my faith and strength not for me, but for my fellow man.
