Hi I'm Haelli Jo

"I know that times have been rough for the both of us, but I’ll pray for a change...." because I'm a Mormon. :]

About Me

Right now I'm just a simple girl trying to get her life started! I have no idea what the Lord's plan is for me, but life is always an adventure and I'm learning to take it as it comes. I have a passion for music. I play guitar, piano, and I sing. My favorite thing about music is when you're listening to or singing a song, and you get to that part that you just love; your heart beats a little bit harder and your soul is pushing off vibes that anyone else with the same understanding of music would be able to feel. It reminds me of the same outstanding feeling I get when the Spirit is telling me that I've done something good. :]

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of this church my whole life. But that's not to say that I haven't had my own trials too. Everyone goes through trials of their faith, and I've had my fair share. No one is perfect. There were times that I've had my beliefs torn down to the very core... I was being questioned, and I finally had to start questioning myself. In the end, when it came right down to the simple question "do you believe or not?" I knew without a doubt that I did. I am so lucky to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I haven't had any earth shaking confirmations of what I believe in, but as I pray and read my scriptures daily and go to church on Sundays, my testimony is strengthened further and further. This church and it's gospel is just like music to me. When I listen, I love the harmony that I can hear. When I sing along, I can feel the joy that it holds. And most of all, it brings an overwhelming desire to be shared with everyone I meet.

How I live my faith

I'm in a Singles Ward for my church, and it is SUCH a blast. I've met so many new people and I've made amazing friends. I'm currently a member of the Activities Committee for the ward, so I get to help organize a lot of the fun things that we do every month. The greatest thing about this church and the ward I'm in is how accepting people are. Everyone is different, everyone has a story, and we're all here to listen. We want to know who you are and what you're all about so that we can really include you as a member of the family. If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself.
