Hi I'm Jenna Little

I'm a wife and stay at home mom of 3 children. I volunteer at school. I shop. I read. I Facebook. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of 3 kids. My oldest (and only girl) is entering her teenage years, and I also have two school age boys. I find my days filled with cooking, cleaning, laundry, and homework. For relaxation, I always try to sneak in some social media, reading, or internet shopping. I always have a project (or three) going on. I love home projects like painting, decorating, and sewing. I like to organize events and programs at school. I write a weekly blog for a local interior design company. I work with the 14 and 15 year old girls at church. I am saving my money so I can go on a humanitarian trip to Africa. I don't love to exercise, but I also try and fit in some of that too. I can often be seen riding my son's scooter to pick him up from school and chasing after him while he rides home. I can't survive life without reading my scriptures in the morning! They are my power-up!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been Mormon my whole life, but I am not Mormon because of that. I continue to be a Mormon because doing so brings me closer to Christ. The doctrines of the church help me understand who I am, where I came from, and where I am going. Through attending the church, I have learned how to have a personal relationship with my Father in Heaven, and how He can direct my life. I have learned about the nature of Christ and his amazing sacrifice for ME. The words in the Book of Mormon are an important part of my spiritual understanding. It is an inspired book, written for our day. Just like the Bible, it testifies of Christ. I know this, because I have read it and have asked my Father in Heaven if it is true. The Holy Spirit has witnessed to my heart and mind that it is from Him. I also love raising my children in the Mormon church. The Church helps me teach them to be strong and righteous. By keeping the standards of the Church, my children are protected in so many ways. They are also learning to be kind and loving. The Holy Spirit has witnessed to me many, many times that this is where I should be. That is why I am Mormon!

How I live my faith

My life revolves around my faith. It is my ultimate goal in life to wake up every morning and pray to know what Heavenly Father would have me do; and then DO IT! I am not always successful, but the moments that I am, are the best moments of my life. During those times, I find myself giving up precious "kidless" time to go and have lunch with my husband. I write notes of thanks or encouragement. I know how to handle those tough parenting moments. I give my money and time to those in need. I know what to teach and how to teach the girls I work with at church. I have better ideas for my school projects, and the strength to carry them out. I am more like Christ!
