Hi I'm Sister Criddle

I am serving as a full-time missionary in the Washington Everett mission and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town of only about 600 people and am currently serving as a full-time sister missionary in the Washington, Everett mission. I love being a missionary and sharing the joy, peace, and purpose that the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me with everyone that I meet. Before I came on my mission I was working in an assisted living home (which I absolutely loved) while I went to school to be a nurse. I have always loved to sing especially with my family. There's lots to love with five sisters and one brother. I am the second youngest of the bunch and it seems I will always be one of the "little kids" along with my baby sister and older brother no matter how old I get.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church my entire life and got baptized when I was 8 years old. I feel at times when people are raised in the church we can take it for granted and that conversion to the gospel is a life long process where there isn't just one but a series of conversions throughout ones life. I had one such conversion only a last year. I follow the gospel for many reasons but one that I love is that it makes me a good person and helps me to become the type of person that I would like to be-with or without religion. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and that he suffered for my sins and pains and then died for me so that we all may be resurrected as he was. I know that Joseph Smith truly was a prophet of God and that through him the gospel was restored to the Earth and has become what it is today. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that within its pages I can find knowledge and wisdom and most of all for me a sense of peace which is priceless in times of heartache and hardship. The gospel gives me so much joy and a sense of completeness that can be found nowhere else. I also know that God loves me and that he loves every single person who has ever lived on this earth no matter who they are or what they have done and because of His love that I feel for them I am able to feel love for them also. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today and he truly is God's mouthpiece. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by having charity towards everyone no matter who they are or what they are like. I strive to treat everyone as Christ would with love and compassion. As a full-time missionary I get to teach people about Jesus Christ and His gospel all day long seven days a week.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Sister Criddle
Thomas S. Monson is the current prophet and president of the church and I know that he is God's mouthpiece-that God speaks to us directly though him. I love the prophet; he is such a sweet man and if you listen to any of the talks that he has given I know that you will feel that too. Show more Show less
