Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm a student, I'm an athlete, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 19 years old. I love to listen to music, play sports, and hang with friends just like every other teenager. I'm the oldest of three in my family. Born in Utah, I've basically grown up in the church my entire life. My family has moved twice, once to Seattle, Washington and then to our current residence in Massachusetts. I've played the piano for almost 13 years now, played the trumpet for four, and also am an amateur DJ. I'm currently studying mechanical engineering at Brigham Young University in Provo UT, and I'll be deferring after a semester to devote two years of my life to this wonderful church in the Concepción Chile mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I know for me that the gospel has helped shaped me into the person I am today, and it will help shape me into the man that I want to be in the future. I love how there are guidelines evident both in the Scriptures and "For the Strength of Youth" to help me through what are sure to be the most challenging years of my life, and I honestly don't know what I would do without their help. I love my Church.

How I live my faith

I love my stake. I'm one of the few Mormon's in my school, so it can be very difficult to avoid situations that challenge my standards. Fortunately I belong to the Hingham Stake, which is where I can look for friends who believe in what I do. I love going to all the activities, from dances to standards night where we zero in on specific standards set for us by "For the Strength of Youth." On November 2nd, 2013 I opened my mission call to the Concepción Chile mission, Spanish speaking. I'm SO excited to be able to spread the gospel to the wonderful people of Chile and help them come closer to their Heavenly Father.
