Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Idaho and love potatoes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outside. I road bike and love to hike in the mountains. I also love to read and am reading A Tale of Two Cities right now. I just finished high school and plan on attending collage.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are LDS and they taught me the gospel. They knew it was true and they always told me that I needed to find out for myself if this was true. They taught me that if I prayed and asked if it was true and worked my hardest to have faith in Jesus Christ, I would know it was true. So I did this. When I prayed and asked if this Church is true, I felt a warm, good feeling inside. I also realized that the Spirit had testified to me throughout my life that this is true. When I would sing hymns in Church I had felt it, when I went to the Temple I felt it, when I listened to the prophets I felt it, and countless other times the Holy Spirit had witnessed to me that this Church is true.

How I live my faith

I home teach two families and visit them often, helping them in ways they need help. I give talks in sacrament meetings. I shovel snow from single sister's driveways. I clean up yards, paint decks, help people move into and out of the ward, put up flags on holidays, and more.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

The Lord loves all his children, and baptism for the dead is how He gives the opportunity for those who didn't have a chance in their lifetime to return to Him. Show more Show less
