Hi I'm Jocelyn

I have a deep love for books and science. My dream job would be to work at a zoo. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love science, books, nature, my friends, and my family. When I was five, I wanted to be a lion when I grew up. Well, that didn't happen, but I did get to go to college and study lions, along with other plants and animals. I graduated last year with my bachelor's degree, and now I'm a homemaker. I'm married to my best friend and we have a little daughter who is ridiculously cute and funny. Right now, most of my days are spent taking care of her and making cool things at home.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I know that God is leading this church. I have a testimony that God lives and that Jesus Christ live, and they both love us. They want us to be happy. They've given us the commandments because they know that if we follow them, we'll be happy.

How I live my faith

I do it in a lot of little ways. I pray in the morning and at night, and a lot of times in between. I try to read my scriptures every day. (I miss a lot of days, but I'm always trying to do better.) I'm beginning to teach my daughter about Jesus, and that he loves her. I try to serve my friends and my family and help them with the things and the time and the attention that they need.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that we can be with our families forever. We believe that families are central to Heavenly Father's eternal plan for us. Knowing the importance of our families helps us build and strengthen our families today. Show more Show less

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Absolutely. I love the accounts the bible gives of Christ's mortal ministry, as well as all the stories of people of strength and virtue. Show more Show less
