Hi I'm Maddie

I'm a young wife and college student. I work with children & adults with disabilities. I'm a cycling instructor and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was recently married in the Rexburg, ID temple to my husband Brent. We are both students at BYU-Idaho and looking forward to finishing up in the next two years. He is a pre-dental student and I am studying Recreation Therapy. I have a great love for people with disabilities; which I have come to learn encompasses a lot larger group than I thought; essentially, all of mankind. I would like to share a philosophy of mine that we are all broken and disabled in one way or another; a broken family, a physical insecurity, or a life plagued with loneliness. The kids and adults I work with have diagnosed disabilities but they have taught me much more about how to treat all our brothers and sisters as a whole. We are all in need of our Savior's love in connection with the love from those surrounding us everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it brings me joy. I live the gospel not because it restrains me but because it frees my soul. I love my Savior Jesus Christ because He is an example to me of what I may one day become. I know that we are lead by a prophet on the Earth today- the Lord has given us a latter day prophet so we do not only have to rely on teachings from the scriptures but so that we can receive modern day revelation according to the trials of today. I am grateful to me married to my husband and if it were not for the Temple- the House of God, I could not create a family with him that would last for an eternity. I am a mormon because I choose to accept this message of peace.
