Hi I'm Laura

I grew up in Iowa. I love to mow the lawn and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I live in Pennsylvania with my husband & four amazing kids. I love music, movies, books, games & good food. I have a degree but am currently at home with my youngest child. I'd like to go back to school to get my nursing degree as soon as my kids are all in school. I don't like yard work except mowing the lawn and I can't get my garden to grow. I like to organize things. I also play the piano and violin and love to tap dance.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all of my life. When I was younger, I went to church because my parents did and I felt good when I was there but I didn't really know what I believed for myself. As a teenager I didn't always live the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It wasn't until I was about 20 that I realized I needed to find out for myself what I believed about God and life and how I wanted to live. I decided to read the Book of Mormon, to study the bible (especially the New Testament) and to pray for direction. I stayed a Mormon because I believe for myself that the LDS church is Christ's church upon the earth today. I love it's teachings.

How I live my faith

Currently I teach music to kids at church from ages 18 months to 11 years old. It's a lot of fun.
