Hi I'm Sonja

I am a high school life skills aid and empty nester with 4 children and 8 grandchildren. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Reading and learning new things are important to me. I am addicted to HGTV and it makes me happy when my husband can help me improve our house. I have 4 wonderful children, 7 grandchildren and another one due any day. I love being a wife/mother/ and especially a grandmother. The time I spend with my family is very precious to me because we are spread out all over the country. I love hiking, being outside, and traveling. Meeting and getting to know other people is great.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother searched her whole life for a church she believed in. She found the LDS church when she was about 38 and I was born a year later. I have grown up in the church and have read the Book of Mormon many times and prayed to know if it is true for myself. I do know the Book of Mormon along with the Bible is scripture that testifies of Jesus Christ. I know and love my Savior and am so thankful for His sacrifice for me and the whole world. I am thankful for my family and the sealing powers that bind us together forever because of the temple covenants we have made.

How I live my faith

I have taught from nursery age to adults in our church and love to teach the gospel. Right now my husband and I are Ward Missionaries and try to help the missionaries teach the gospel to people that are interested in our church. Sometimes it is scary to tell people what we believe because it is so much a part of our lives and means so much to us.
