Hi I'm Tamera R

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for that

About Me

I am about 50 years old. I like computers. I like to play games. I like to garden. I like pets. I grew up on a Farm. I have a BS in CS. I like to read. I enjoy watching things grow and listening to music. I enjoy all kinds of music. I like learning about everything.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a person who always looks for the Truth. I have been a member of this church my entire life. Many people ask me why? Don't I feel there is something different, something better. I have looked always for truth and studied the Word of God and found that I have come to a wonderful beautiful testimony of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by this study and looking for the truth in all things. As I have read the wonderful scriptures that are available I have taken to heart Moroni 10:3-8 in the Book of Mormon and prayed for a knowledge in my heart that it was true. The peace, comfort and joy it brings is like nothing else one can find any where else. I know that my Savior love me no matter what, but I try to be obedient to his word so that He can share the wonderful knowledge He has with me. I have had many problems physically and mentally over the years and have come to understand that He won't always take the problems away, but makes me stronger so I can do what needs to be done. It is humbling to know that He loves me that much and knows Me. I hope to learn to know Him better. I am grateful for the atonement in my life and for my Savior's life here on earth. I know that by continuing your search for the truth in all things you too can find that love and peace and joy that I have found. I know that you can have that peace and joy by always looking for the truth, studying His word and living obedient to his commandments. Again, I know that Jesus Christ lives and He loves me and am grateful that He lived, died and was Resurrected. . .

How I live my faith

I am the Sunday School Teacher for the Adults in my ward. I try to be kind to everyone I meet and treat everyone like I would want my mother to be treated. I have held many callings in my church, but above that I have wonderful neighbors and love to see and talk to them.
