Hi I'm Jena

I grew up in Utah, I'm a new mother to a baby boy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah, and I am the second oldest of six kids. I loved growing up in a big family. My husband and I have been married for two and a half years. We are so blessed to have recently welcomed a baby boy into our family. Prior to having a baby, I was an elementary school teacher. My husband and I have now moved our little family to Pennsylvania. I enjoy sports, especially playing soccer. I also love to read, bake, and travel.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm blessed to have been born and raised within the gospel. My own personal conversion didn't come from one significant instance, rather it has been an accumulation of experiences. My testimony has developed and grown as I have done things such as study the scriptures, listen to prophets, live the gospel principles, and follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost. All of these things have led me to a greater understanding and love for my Savior Jesus Christ and the plan of our Heavenly Father. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings true and eternal happiness to individuals and families. I know this to be true and want this happiness to exist within my own family unit. Because of the blessings I enjoy in my life, I continue to strive to live so that my children can experience the same blessings. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that this is his Gospel on the Earth today. This knowledge that I have is the most important thing that I know, and it continually guides my life today.

How I live my faith

My husband and I currently teach the six and seven year old children in our ward. I love being with them every week at church. Children are so close to the spirit and there is always so much we can learn from them.
