Hi I'm Jennifer

I grew up in Southern California. I am a mother of 10 children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large Mormon family with wonderful parents who loved me. I married an amazing man who supported me in my dream to become a mother. I now have 10 beautiful children. I graduated from college with a degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy and now teach piano lessons at home. When I have time, I love to read.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I have felt this in my heart as I have studied the doctrine and have lived the teachings of the gospel. I know that Jesus Christ died for me and lives again. I know that a loving Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers and knows me as an individual person. I am so thankful for the knowledge that I have of Heavenly Father's plan for me, and that I have the potential, depending on my obedience, to return and live with Him again.

How I live my faith

In my church, I get to teach songs to little children. It is so much fun! We sing songs about Jesus Christ, about being kind to others, about keeping the commandments, about our relationship with Heavenly Father, about our families, etc. I think these songs are fundamental in helping teach children what our church believes. These songs can also help these children make good choices when they are faced with hard decisions as to how they should respond and behave in certain situations. I also have the privilege of visiting and caring for several ladies in my congregation. I get to visit with them on the phone or in their homes. I pray for them and try to help them when I see a need. These ladies have become some of my dearest friends. I try hard to read the scriptures, the Book of Mormon and the Bible, on a consistent basis. I truly believe that the scriptures help teach me to know how God wants me to act. The more I read, the happier I am, the better decisions I make, and the more I treat others the way Jesus wants me to.
