Hi I'm Trevor Taylor

I fly helicopters and live in Alabama with my wife and two little girls. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a dedicated husband and dad, before that, I was a very avid Rock Climber and Mountaineer, having climbed some of the highest mountains in the world. At the age of 19 I made the decision to serve a two year voluntary service mission. I was called to serve the people of Ecuador, I fell in love with the people, culture, country and language; all by serving the people. After leaving Ecuador I met my beautiful wife, back in the US, we were Sealed for All time and Eternity in the Salt Lake Temple (A temple sealing is the only thing better than marriage). I started a career in aviation soon after in Alaska, then Hawaii, Utah, Florida, Mexico and Alabama. I've worked with the church in all of these locations, volunteering with the youth and others in those communities.

Why I am a Mormon

I kneeled down on my knees and asked God to know if the things written in the Book of Mormon and Bible were true. It's a promess made in the Book of Mormon. I knew in that moment with out a shadow of doubt it was true. It was not the first time nor the last time I had done the same. It took study and Faith, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him (Jame 1:5). I find that I must continue to go to church and read the scriptures or it's becomes very easy to forget what God has proven to me and begin to believe in the world. It not easy, but it's worth it. I believe in Eternal Famlies and that makes me keep at!

How I live my faith

I'm not perfect so that's why I go to church. It has made me a better husband, father, brother, son and friend.
