Hi I'm Hailey

I enjoy spending time with my family especially outside. I love life and having fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending college right now and it's been a great experience for me. One important lesson I've learned while at college is your family is truly your best friends! They are always there for me and support me in everything I do! I love living in Idaho because I get to enjoy being so close to the mountains. I love boating, hiking, fishing, and watching sunsets-- basically anything to be outside! I also love playing sports! Playing sports has taught me the importance of hard work and teamwork! I love being happy and spending time with people that make me happy!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been born and raised in this church and I am so grateful I was able to be. I choose to continue to follow His gospel because this gospel make me happy! This gospel brings so much comfort. I know I can live with my family forever because Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ provided the The Plan of Salvation or Plan of Happiness. This plan allows me to know that I have a life after death and that my family will be together forever! I also believe in the importance of prayer. Heavenly Father hears each of our prayers and will answer our prayers when we are ready! I know this because it has happened to me. One day my sister and I went running. It had started raining and we were getting wet and cold. We walked back to the car and she noticed her keys had fallen out of her pocket. I said a prayer to help us find the keys and minutes later I found the keys on the running path. Heavenly Father knows each of us and is willing to help us if we are willing to ask! I know our Savior, Jesus Christ, loves us and knows each of us personally. That is why He performed the atonement so He can help us overcome any hardships, trials, sickness, or doubts we have. I have felt comfort through my Savior during difficult times and I know the atonement is real. I know the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, are true and reading these books brings strength. I receive so much direction and comfort when I read the scriptures, especially when I read during a difficult time in my life. Prayers are answered while reading scriptures. I know that our living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, leads this church under the direction of our Savior Jesus Christ. This is Christ's church and I am grateful to be a part of it. I know this church is true and I don't know where I would be without it. It brings so much comfort, direction, and happiness into my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. I participate in service projects. One example is I helped clean the school grounds of a local high school. I have also helped plan and attend girls camp for multiple years. I currently help with the young children of our church. Serving others does not just involve events through my church. I believe serving others includes something as simple as opening doors for others or sharing a smile. I believe that being the best person I can be and always treating other kindly is one of the best ways I can live my faith.
