Hi I'm Paul

I'm a Mormon

About Me

Bass Playin Accountant. I am a classically trained (Symphony Orchestra) double bassists. I went to school to recieve my degrees and performed in a few regional symphony orchestras in North Carolina and Michigan. I love music and keep it daily as part of my life. I am an accountant at a large international company. I have a young family 2 boys and my beautiful wife. I was raised in the church by a goodly mother and a father who is of another faith.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was expected that I serve to be a missionary. I was a talented musician who had a 7/8 scholarship to attend College and it was not a church school. One day after I had recieved my missionary call (assignment). I was reading the Book of Mormon something I had never done before on my own. I was reading where Alma 17 where Ammon was protecting the kings sheep. I have never felt so strongly that something actually occured eventhough i was not there. I know it happened. I recieved a warm/calming sensation that gave me assurance that Joseph Smith was a prophet, The Book of Mormon is true and there is a true church on the earth. I know that God love me and that Jesus Christ loves me as well. The are many reasons that I am Mormon. I am Mormon because I have prayed, on my own, to learn what is true. To know is to live is to be. I am blessed to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon or Christian isn't about going to church it is about what I do. I live my faith by loving my family, teaching men about Christ (I teach males 18+), visit 4 families each month to assist and provide a spiritual messege or assistance. I have been the leader of youth males 12-18, taught sunday school class (youth age 12-14), served as a missionary for my church. Living my faith is to pray everyday. My 2 year old son prays at restaurants before he eats. Sings church songs. Stops during the day while playing to pray. I read the good word of God daily and pray with my wife before evening.
