Hi I'm Brian

Laughing - It's what I do. Basketball - It's what I play. The Gospel of Jesus Christ - It's what I live. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love to play basketball. I take advantage of every opportunity to play. Since I was a kid, my Dad and I would watch the Utah Jazz games all the time. I play the piano as often as I can, and even though I'm not the best singer, I sing anyway! Listening to music (Keane, Coldplay, Maroon 5), just being around my awesome family, or being out and about with friends are some of my favorite things to do in life. I am currently serving a mission for two years in the BEAUTIFUL country of Moldova speaking Russian. Life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the answers I've received thus far in my life. I was baptized at the age of 8, and being from Utah I was raised in the Church. Looking back, I realize, with the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation, how important and crucial of a decision that was. God created this plan not only to provide a way for us to return back to him, but to experience peace, joy, and happiness in this life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has taught me of the things I need to do in order to live with God again. These teachings have brought me closer to my Savior and to an understanding of my potential in this life and the life to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to constantly remind myself of my purpose here on earth. The example and teachings of Jesus Christ in the scriptures provide a step-by-step outline of what I need to do in order to fulfill that purpose. Christ showed us the perfect example of how to serve and love those around us and this is what guides me from day to day. I chose to serve full-time mission not just because it's my priesthood responsibility, but because I know how much having a knowledge of the Savior can change someone's life forever.
