Hi I'm Lisa

I was born in Chicago. I now live in Carmichael Ca. I am a convert. I was baptized in 1999. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of four boys, all grown and on their own, so they say. I am happily newly married in the church to a wonderful man who accepts me and our boys for what we are and helps us all become whole. I was baptized in 1999 with all my children. I fell away but am back and staying. I am very grateful that I am a part of this church family because I know that I can go on without without guilt from the past. This church gives you the freedom to forgive ourselves.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon when I heard the story of the restoration of the church and the beautiful faith and obedience had by Joseph Smith at such a young age. There is just no way for this not to be the true church. No two people feel the same way about things they hear. We all know the church in our own way, all our testimonies are different but they all confirm the same thing. This church is true and we have a modern prophet who is lead by God to lead us correctly. I returned to the church in 2008 for the last time. I wont have to return again because I choose not to leave again. You can not find this love, comfort, trust, and bonding any where else on earth. The gospel gives us the choice to do as we choose and the only freedom available is right here in obedience to the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If you have not met with missionaries or have not listened completely try it Please. I promise you we will always share the truth and the truth will be shown to you and you will have no room to doubt. Welcome to an opportunity to be truly happy.

How I live my faith

At this time I give service in any way that I am needed. I help when any family has need of assistance that I can tend to.
