Hi I'm Alaire Moore

I love smiling. I love serving. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Howdy and Aloha! My name is Alaire Moore, I am from Sugar Land, Texas. I am 21 years old, and I graduated with my associates degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University- Hawaii in December 2012. I am currently serving my mission in Anaheim, California, and I am LOVING IT! I live a hard life, grew up in Texas, schooled in Hawaii, and now serving my mission in California! Just kidding!! I love life, and I love seeing other people smile! I love American Sign Language! I sing, cook, swim, serve, run, sign, read, hang out, and jam. I come from a family of 8, my momma, and 5 brothers. My father passed away in July 2011, which was hard but we're doing okay. I have been a member my whole life, but I don't know where I'd be without the gospel of Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I am a Mormon because I know this is the true gospel on the Earth. I know that I have a personal relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ, and my Heavenly Father. I know that they are seperate beings. I know Heavenly Father loves me and that I am His daughter. I know my family will be together forever. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, called by God, to restore the fullness of truth to this earth. I know that he translated the Book of Mormon, as another testament of Jesus Christ. That through both the Book of Mormon, and the Bible, as long as it is translated correctly, we can come closer to our Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon, because I have had many instances in my life to prove to me that there could be no other true gospel on this Earth. But how do I know these things? Because I have prayed, and asked God, and He has told me these things.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily! Every day is filled with opportunities to serve others and I just have to look and seize them. Everyday I study the words of Christ and his apostles in the Bible and in the Book of Mormon. I am currently a representative of Jesus Christ and I do his work and follow His example. I share the gospel with everyone, and I know there's always room for improvement, so I can do better at that. I hope everyone can see that I am an example of the believers, and that I follow the living Christ.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Alaire Moore
Yes, we believe the Bible to be the word of God. The Book of Mormon does not replace or compete with the Bible. It works with the bible to help understand and learn more about Christ's life. Show more Show less
