Hi I'm Jessie

I live in Wyoming. I enjoy hiking, singing, and figure skating. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 4 daughters. I'm a college student studying to become a nurse. I seasonally work at Grand Teton National Park where I enjoy hiking, climbing, backpacking, and looking at beautiful scenery. I enjoy playing instruments, acting, singing, and reading. I love to figure skate and competed in it for 11 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who actively participated in church. As a child I accepted the life my parents guided for me. During my teenage years I decided to find my own path in life, so I looked to my heart and felt that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the Earth, and I should continue to exercise my faith in the gospel. I am very glad that I heeded this impression, because I know that my faith in this church has blessed my family and me greatly.

How I live my faith

I live my faith with every day actions. Helping others helps me love them and realize the love God has for all of us. I am preparing to serve a full time mission where I will teach others the gospel for 18 months.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Jessie
It is the responsibility of parents to love their children, and each other. " By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners." The Family: A Proclamation to the World. This is a quote written by The First Presidency and Council of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know this to be true.
