Hi I'm Brad

I am an Eagle Scout. I love piano and volleyball. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love volleyball, playing the piano, woodworking, and spending time with family and friends! I am an Eagle Scout, and am have earned my Duty to God award. My family consists of my mom, dad, and younger sister. I just graduated high school, and have been called to serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Colombia! When I get home, I plan on majoring in Biology and then go medical school to become an orthopedist. Somewhere in that time I hope to be married in the temple, and eventually have a family of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I, along with everyone else in the world, was born with agency, or the ability to choose. When I turned eight, I chose to be baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents (both active members of the LDS church) have definitely influenced my life in most every decision I have made, including to join the church, but they have never really 'made me' do anything. It has been the best decision I have made in my life, and I will continue to benefit from that choice for as long as I live and follow God's commandments. I know that if one does what God asks they will find joy that they could not find nor experience by doing anything else. I have experienced this joy, and this is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being active in my ward, participating in the youth activities, and being a good example to those who do and do not belong to the LDS faith. Being an Eagle Scout, I do my best to live the Scout Law which includes being Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Curtious, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. While doing my best to live these values, and following God's commandments, I can be happy and share my faith with others.
