Hi I'm Kaylee

I love theater, running, and reading. I am positively enamored by the sky. My family brings me joy. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I first stepped on stage in third grade, and I can't get off! I love the cast members' craziness, the backstage nervousness, and the onstage thrill. Running is another joy in my life. It's my stress reliever. :) Reading takes me to a whole new world that I love. From Hogwarts to Panem to the Elgen Academy, I am always there beside the characters.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel! I have felt God's love for ME so many times. When I first realized that He loves ME as an individual, that He knows ME, that He cares about ME, I was overwhelmed with peace and gratitude. I am not just another one of the billions of the people here on earth, I am His daughter that He worries about everyday. He wants to see me make good choices. He wants me to help His other children. He has given me everything, so why shouldn't I repay Him by following His commandments? I know that He is there when I need him. I have prayed to Him so many times for simple, little things like finding my soccer ball or big things like the safety of my family members. Even though He dosen't always answer them in the way that I want at the moment, in the end I always see that His way worked out much better than my way would have. I know that He knows what's best for us, even when we can't see it.

How I live my faith

I try to be the person someone can go to when they are having a rough day. I try to look for those who are all by themselves or cut off from the circle of friends and bring them in. Everyone hates being alone and it really isn't that hard to say, "Hey! Do you want to come eat lunch with us?" What's the worst that could happen? They say, "No," ? That doesn't hurt us, so why shouldn't we be friendly? My favorite quote is from Bishop H. David Burton. It says, "Live in such a way that people who know you but don't know Christ will want to know Christ because they know you." I try to live by that everyday.
