Hi I'm Jared

I'm a very hard working full-time student. I am a proud husband and father. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a full time student at Dixie State College in St. George, Utah studying the field of nursing and am wanting to transfer to Brigham Young University in fall of 2013 to study banking and finance for a bachelors degree after I receive my associates in May of 2013. I know what you're thinking, switch from nursing to finance is like switching from paper to plastic at the grocery store, they are completely different!. However, that is where I feel my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ wants me to be, only the future will tell me why. I am into bodybuilding and strength training as well as eating wholesome nutritious foods to keep my body healthy and my mind sharp. Lifting weights helps me to unload stress and keep my game face on for my studies. On top of it all I have a beautiful baby boy and a beautiful wife who is from Norway. My family means the world to me and are so supportive of my goals and aspirations. Family truly is the most incredible gift man can have in this lifetime.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. First and foremost I know deep within and without a shadow of a doubt that what I believe is true. I live true happiness everyday because of what I believe and the small things I do everyday to draw me closer to God. Life is meant to be full of fun and joy! That is why I am a Mormon because through diligently living the principles of my faith my soul is filled with great joy and happiness, even so great sometimes I am brought to tears. I love this church and what this church stands for, which is to love everyone as a brother or sister and to offer selfless service to those in need. To me, nothing in this world can brings us true happiness except to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and keep his commandments.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday of the week. I always strive to help those around me that may need a friend for comfort or need help in any way. By helping and serving my fellow man I serve God. In my church I help by having a leadership position where I help share my beliefs to those in the community who may be unfamiliar with what I believe. I truly want others to feel the overwhelming joy and love that I feel in my heart on a regular basis because of the faith that I live by. I also help to organize CES fireside broadcasts at my local church, which are when a highly regarded church leader speaks by way of satellite to church houses all over the world. These help to give church members guidance and inspiration on how to better live their faiths' and be successful in life.
