Hi I'm Susan Dransfield

I am a Mom of five. I taught High School and College. I love to travel with my husband and do family history work.

About Me

I am a mother of five. I love traveling and hiking exotic places and running half marathons. I am a teacher and enjoying serving in the community. Our family loves to ski in Utah. We have served as performers the Hill Cumorah Pageant where the Church was restored.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it is the same church that existed on the earth at the time of Christ. It contains the fullness of His gospel and the great plan of happiness. His plan of happiness is outlined in the Book of Mormon. I am a Mormon because the Book of Mormon is the truest book ever written and will bring us closer to Christ as we strive to live the principles taught by the prophets in this sacred book. As I read this book for the first time, I discovered a path with an iron rod that led to the "Tree of Life which is precious above all." I discovered the love of God and is most desirable above all things and most joyous to the soul. I now read this book everyday because it brings me great happiness.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving the young single adults of our church through teaching religious courses at community college called institute. These courses and are open to any young single adult going to any college. I also love doing family history work and have been researching since I was a teenager. I get a wonderful feeling when I am searching for my ancestors and I feel close to them. Families are eternal. I am a temple worker and have had many faith building, personal experiences in God's Holy House. The sealing power to bind heaven on earth is received in the Temple. Anyone can prepare themselves to go and receive "all that our Father hath." The joy felt there is hard to concieve until you go.There is a great spirit of love inside the temple that is out of this world!
