Hi I'm Chelsea Newitt

I grew up in the United States. I love music, reading, and soccer. I am a missionary in Australia and I LOVE it! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second eldest of nine children. My family means the world to me. I love reading anything and everything. I really enjoy learning mathematics and history. I love playing any musical instrument I can get my hands on, but I mostly play tenor saxophone and piano. I've written a few piano solos and love expressing myself through music.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because not only do I feel, but I know, that this is the Lord's true church. My parents raised me in the church, but from the very beginning, it has always been clear that it was up to me if I was going to believe the teachings and doctrines for myself. I have done a lot of studying and praying, and I know, without any reservations, that being a member of this church is right. The principles and teachings of this gospel have helped me see how I can become more like my Savior. It has given me a great perspective on life and hope for the future. I am a much happier person now than I would be if I didn't have the chance to learn and grow in this church. Following its guidelines has brought me more happiness, prepared me better for life and all the challenges that lie in my way, and given me an amazing outlook on life.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith every day. I do my best to help others in need, look for opportunities to serve, and learn and grow as a person. I listen to and follow the guidance of our church leaders. I abstain from any thing or substance that would damage my body, mind, or spirit. I do my best to be an example of Christ. I'm definitely not perfect, and I do mess up here and there. I practice another part of my faith by repenting, and making improvements where they're needed. I invite others to learn more about Jesus Christ and to follow Him.
