Hi I'm Norma
I grew up in a small town, then moved to the city and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I'm a retired nurse. I love knitting. I have three children and I'm a widow. I have one grandchild. I like to do volunteer work at the hospital near my home.
Why I am a Mormon
I became a Mormon because when the Missionaries taught me about the Church, the teaching matched my understanding of the New Testament. When I prayed about the Book of Mormon, I got that burning feeling in my heart and I knew that the Church was true, and that the Book of Mormon was true. Dispite opposition from my family members, I knew this was the Church to join. After many years, that opposition disappeared. I was baptized. Later I was blessed to be sealed to my loving husband for eternity. I know that this blessing is real.
How I live my faith
I like to help those who live around me. Mostly they help me, as they are younger. I like to visit other sisters. We like to talk about our families and the Gospel. I enjoy volunteering at the local hospital. For my current calling, I help gather valuable statistics for our women's organization within the Church.
