Hi I'm Cody Hess

I'm a loud, crazy, kid from Idaho. I love sports, hunting, and I've been known to thump to some sick-nasty dubstep.. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am just a 19 year old kid from Malad, Idaho. I love to play sports and be outdoors. Football and baseball have been such a huge part of my life and I have been the part of State Tournament contending teams. I love to hunt and fish with my friends and spend time with them. We are always out having fun somehow. I have had a great life so far because of my amazing family! They mean everything to me and I know they feel the same about me. I was able to attend college in Utah for a year after high school before serving a full-time mission in the Charleston, West Virginia Mission. I love my life and everything about it! I always try to surround myself with people who will bring me up, and I do all I can to bring them up as well!

Why I am a Mormon

I had the privilige of being raised in the Church, and I am so greatful for that! But even though I was raised in it I still didn't always act like it. There was a time when I used to just believe what my parents would say because it is all I knew. I never really found out for myself if being a Mormon was worth it or not, and it was killing me! So I decided to find out for myself if it really was the true restored gospel back on the earth or if it wasn't. I spent many hours reading from the Book of Mormon, serving other people, and praying with all my heart to know if the things I was reading and doing were right. I recieved such a strong answer to my prayers and I now know that this truely is His gospel. I mean how could it not be with the amazing people and the service that they so freely give to others? It is just such a great time being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by just being me. Think about it, how much better could you live your faith than just being a good person and always trying to help other people out? We dont need to get all high and mighty, or preach on street corners to change the world. I see living any faith as what the person does when nobody is watching. That is someone truly living their faith. I mess up all the time, but heck, i'm trying my hardest. I live my faith by trying to take every advantage to help other people out. By trying to be a good guy, and knowing how to have a good time in the right way. I live my faith by just living.
