Hi I'm Cerani

I'm a mom, a military wife, a birth aficionado, an unschooler, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I had a rocky start to life but I don't allow that to hold me back. I am married to my best friend and the love of my life. We have two beautiful children, whom we love and adore. I am very passionate about anything to do with pregnancy and birth. I plan on becoming a midwife when my kids are a bit older. My husband and I want six children. My second child was born completely naturally in a hospital and we are planning natural home births for the rest. I love to sing, draw, paint, create, play, and enjoy being outdoors. I love exploring this beautiful earth the Lord has blessed us with. I love learning about survival, emergency preparedness, and the signs of the times. I unschool my children and love teaching them about the gospel. Our home is filled with pictures of Christ. I can't get enough of them. Most people think I am shy or very quiet until they get to know me, then they realize how loud, wild and excitable I can be. My dream is to live on a farm, raising cattle and riding horses while teaching my children the value of hard work. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love attending the temple. I love listening to our prophet speak at general conference. My family is eternal and I strive to be the best I can be so that we will all live together forever in the presence of God.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is the true church of Jesus Christ in the latter days. I know my Savior died for me and that He loves me. I know He lives and will return to the earth again. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God to restore the true and everlasting gospel to the earth and that he truly saw God and Jesus Christ standing in the Sacred Grove. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet today and that the Lord speaks to him. The know this church is led by a loving Heavenly Father and that nothing is done, save by His word. I know that when I repent with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, the Lord will help me in overcoming temptation and bless my life. I know that EVERY TIME I am obedient, my life will be blessed and EVERY TIME I am disobedient, I will miss out on blessings. I know Christ. I have felt His presence around me. I have felt his arms wrapped around me when I was in desperate need of His loving reassurance. My prayers have been answered time and time again. My life has been blessed tremendously. The Lord has carried me through difficult times and has never, NEVER given up on me. I have felt the presence of Satan in my life and I have felt the power of God as His angels came to protect me and rescue me from Satan's grasp. I know with every fiber of my being that this gospel is true. Nothing will ever take that knowledge from me. It is far too important, too sacred. I have been tried and tested time and time again and the only constant has been my Savior's love and His redeeming power.

How I live my faith

I have led music, planned events, been an event decorator and now, I work with the little children in primary. I live my faith by magnifying my calling and doing my best to get through to little children and teach them the gospel. I live my faith by actively praying for missionary opportunities and sharing the gospel every chance I get. I pray for those around me and for myself, that I will be strengthened in the Lord, that I might be a light unto others. I live my faith by studying the scriptures daily and attending the temple as often as I can. I live my faith by teaching my children about Heavenly Father and Christ and all they do for us. I live my faith by being obedient to God's word and repenting quickly when I screw up. I live my faith by trusting in the Lord and knowing that He is here to guide me and protect me from the evils of the world.
