Hi I'm Chelsea Wilson

I am from Albuquerque, NM. I am a missionary of Jesus Christ, and I am Mormon

About Me

Hey! I'm Chelsea and I'm at the mere age of 19, and I am preparing to serve a mission. I have struggled with decisions about schooling and what I have wanted to do in life, and God told me from President Monson, that I was to serve a mission. I have gone through good bad and ugly, and I cannot wait to teach the Tulsa, Oklahoma people of Jesus Christ and of the restored Gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised into the church. But I have had to find my own path in myself though I was born in the church. I have chosen for myself this church because I have learned how happy people are to know the full church. And though others are happy in their own religions, it's different to hear what they have been taught, and know what I know. They are so very close to the fullness of the gospel, but just haven't reached it all. And we all reach that point in our lives when we find by ourselves we find out where we want to be. Finding for myself was challenging. I had to believe in what I believed, not what my parents believe and not what I was told to believe. And by finding my own testimony for me, by me, was a wonderful experience. I can personally know my Heavenly Father and His Son. I know that He hears me, when I'm having a good day, or even crying myself to sleep. Prayer is the strongest bond of my testimony. I know that He hears me, and I know my prayers are answered in whichever way. I know my Savior died for my sins that I personally can know the fullness of the Gospel. And I am so grateful I can. Without it I wouldn't know who I was, or where I am going after this life. I believe in all of these things to be true. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have been in a single branch for nearly a year now, and as I have been there I have seen many people be converted, both new and old. I have taken on the calling of a relief society teacher and I have grown so much by the couple of times I have taught. Teaching both the same ages and older women has been such a blessing as they have shared many of their stories with me. I have seen many grow, and have felt the spirit every time I teach. I know that by following Christ's example by loving and being kind to these women in the Relief society group, I am being used by Him, that I may touch the hearts of those who may have been lost, or are struggling.

What is faith?

Chelsea Wilson
To me personally, faith is believing in something that you know full heartilly to be true. It's more than just seeing with your eyes, but with your heart, mind and soul. Faith is truely like a seed. You plant it and take good care of it, make sure it is healthy, it grows in time. One cannot just have sudden faith, it grows over time and is precious and sacred to the person who personally grows it. Faith is very precious and tender. Faith is something you know, and something you can feel. Faith is happiness in yourself. Show more Show less
