Hi I'm Megan

I am the kind of person that looks out for others around her because she loves everyone around her. I'm a missionary in Germany:)

About Me

I like to play volleyball, tennis, soccer, and basketball. I am in the marching band at my school as well as jazz band. I love music, it helps me think through whatever i need to, as well as taking off the stress of life. I just melt into the music, I flow with it, I lose myself in it. I plan to stay in band for a long time, including when i go to BYU, Utah. I will never let it go, because music is who i am.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this religion, and i have never thought about leaving until my life had gotten really difficult. I thought that i couldn't do what was needed because of my devotion to church. So, I spent a year trying to not be totally into my religion. At first, I thought that I was finally free and could do what I wanted to do. But after a couple of months I felt more stressed than I had before, and i didn't like it at all. Just before the year ended, I realized that I didn't know who I was anymore. I didn't recognize my reflection, and that is when I realized that being part of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints is who i am. After i realized this, i automatically felt this overwhelming peace that made me feel more free than i ever had. I now know that this church is the true church, and it won't leave you to fend for yourself. The loving people in this church help you in any way that they possibly can, and they do it without expecting something in return. I know that Jesus Christ shed my sins, and that he went through what I am going through. I am not alone, and I know that I never will be! I am so thankful for everything that everyone has done for me!

How I live my faith

I play the piano during the youth activities, and I do service around the neighborhood, as well as school and church. I try to be an example and focus on the happiness in the world; instead of the hate, deceit, and lies that is constantly thrown at all of us today.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

My answer would be to pray, read the Book of Mormon, and most importantly listen to your heart. Never listen to those that are trying to draw you away from it, and bring you to it. You have to my the decision for yourself. It is your life, so you need to live it the right way, the way that helps you know who you really are. Show more Show less
