Hi I'm Amanda

I'm the freshman vice president. I play tennis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Amanda! I am 14 and I am Mormon! I love to play tennis, put together cute and modest outfits, spend time with my family and friends, and live my life as a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon, thanks to the wonderful decision my parents made when they both converted to the church. They are a huge example to me. I am truly grateful for their decision to be sealed in the temple so I can live with my family for time and all eternity. Up until very recently my testimony was just my parent's testimony, but through many youth programs I have developed my own. I know without doubt that this church is true. I am so blessed for Jesus Christ and his example to me. He was perfect, he never sinned, yet he suffered and died for me and my sins. His suffering makes me realize that the adversity in my life today is nothing to what he went through, and makes me happy for all that i have. I am thankful for my family. They are so wonderful, and i know that they love me. I am glad for the temple so i can be with my family forever. I am thankful for Joseph Smith for restoring the gospel so i can have it in my life today. I know that the scriptures are true, and that through The Book of Mormon i can do anything. The Holy Ghost is a huge blessing in my life, giving me promptings to know what is right and wrong. I know my life would not be the same without the gospel.

How I live my faith

Today, revealing and immodest clothing are becoming really popular. I love fashion and and want to be a designer when I'm older. By wearing modest clothes that are also cute I live my faith. Being modest is more than not showing too much skin. It means treating yourself with respect. Our bodies are a temple so we need to treat them accordingly. God has given us our body, and that is a huge blessing. I try my best to show my gratitude by dressing modestly.
