Hi I'm Kyler

I grew up in Rexburg, Idaho. I love to play sports and be outdoors. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just got through with my first year of college at BYU-Idaho. I am now going to serve on a mission in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. After that I will continue to attend BYU-I and hopefully I will eventually become an Anesthesiologist. I played basketball, football, and golf while I was in high school. I love all sports and love to be outdoors. I love to four wheel and dirt bike. I love to go boating and swimming as well. I am the oldest sibling in my family and I only have one little sister who is ten years younger than me. I love being with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of how it makes me feel. This gospel makes me feel extremely happy when I am doing what I am suppose to and going to church, fulfilling my callings, and keeping the commandments. It is hard to explain the joy you feel when you are truly involved in this church. I have been very lucky because I have been raised in this gospel and I don't really know any different. But whenever I attend sacrament meeting I feel the spirit so strongly and it makes me tingle inside and feel so warm and happy. I know this church is true without a doubt in my mind. This is why I am going to serve a mission so that I may be able to share this gospel with others and make them feel the way I do. I know that my savior Jesus Christ atoned and suffered for my sins so that I may be able to go on a mission and eventually return to my heavenly father. I am so thankful for the atonement and the role that Jesus Christ plays in my life. I know that if I follow the example of the savior, then I will be able to return to my heavenly father and be guided by him. I know that Jesus Christ is the perfect example for all of us. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon with the power of God. I know that he could not have done it without the help of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and everything it teaches is true. I am thankful for the Book of Mormon and what it teaches me. I know that President Monson is the true living prophet today and I know he leads and guides us to do what our heavenly father would want. The church is true, and I say these things in the name of our savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I am about to leave for Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine for a two year mission. I go to church every Sunday and love going to sacrament meeting and partaking of the sacrament. After sacrament, I go to class to learn more about the gospel and then go to priesthood. I try to say my prayers morning and night as well as read the Book of Mormon once a day. I also went to seminary all through high school. I am so excited to go and serve the lord on a mission in Ukraine. I know my knowledge and feeling about the gospel will grow and deepen.
