Hi I'm Andrea

I am a wife and mother, born and raised in Utah. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a people-person. I thrive in group settings or anywhere where people are involved. I love children and majored in Early Childhood Education. Although I didn't teach in the public school setting for too long, I now have the opportunity to use my skills and passions of teaching in my own home as I teach our young children. I love music and find joy playing the piano, singing, and listening to good songs on the radio. I love anything crafty or creative. I enjoy baking and cooking; I am always looking for a new, yummy (and preferably simple) recipe. I love watching movies. Going outside into the beauty of nature on a walk or a picnic is a favorite activity when the weather is right. I grew up dancing (ballet) and slowly changed my focus to tap dance; I now teach a few tap classes each week. I'm all about date night with my husband and am a succor for dancing in the kitchen. I enjoy a simple life and prefer not being up-to-date on the latest actors/actresses or popular singers. My greatest joys are the gospel and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it is true. I feel such peace and hope through my Savior, Jesus Christ. My greatest joy comes when I am living the gospel. I was blessed to grow up in an LDS family, but it wasn't really until my teenage years that I developed my own testimony that this is the true church. Now I know it without a doubt and I wish everyone could enjoy the happiness I do!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being friends with everyone. I love treating others with kindness and helping them know that they too are sons or daughters of God. I spend time with others chatting outside, doing crafts, watching their children, or talking on the phone. I play the piano or lead the music often in meetings. I enjoy doing my visiting teaching and talking with other girls in the ward about how they are doing. I also love sharing my testimony with them about the truthfulness of this gospel. It is a beautiful thing! Another way I get to live my faith right now is by working with the youth. I love it! I spend a lot of time with our young women, especially the 12-13 year olds. They are building their testimonies right now and growing so much. I love the opportunity to learn and grow with them. The youth are so strong!! Finally, I live my faith by helping raise my family up in a Christ-centered home. We are a family that is going to be together forever!! What an amazing blessing!
