Hi I'm Gage

"I love sports. I love outdoor activities and i'm a mormon."

About Me

I was born in Utah and lived most my life in North West Colorado. I have 4 younger brothers and we have had lots of fun and great experiances together. We rough-housed a lot and we got really good at repairing things. My poor mom. I have enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, wrestling, paintballing, raquetball, football and track and field. I love everything outdoors. My favorite is backpacking and mountainbiking with family, hunting, and motorsports. I have lots of hobbies and am always finding new ones. My favorites are Unicycling, playing the Tuba, flint knapping, shooting sports, and welding. I have been blessed with opportunities to save money for my mission. I have worked for an appliance store, a animal hospital, and a underground coal mine on the surface crew. My father has taught me how to work hard and I have come to enjoy it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 years old. I didnt remember much about it but I knew and was excited to follow Christ. I had grown up being a Mormon and I didnt know much about other churches but I have continued to be active as a Mormon because I understood the blessings of living the gospel that was restored by a latter day Prophet. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel to Its fullness to the earth because I know that the antient record known as the Book Of Mormon was translated by the power of God. I know because the Holy Spirit has touched my soul as I have saught to learn and understand these things. I still dont understand everything but I know that over time God will open my understanding as I have faith and do all I can to live with him again.

How I live my faith

Im currently a missionary serving God in the Maryland Baltimore mission. It is a lot of fun and I enjoy every minnut of it. I love seeing the Gospel of Jesus Christ help people in their lives. In the past I have had a great time going to church on sundays and participating in church activities for the youth. In highschool I attended semanary in the morning. Semenary is a scripture study class that the church offers for students going to highschool. I also went with my father to teach members of our church and make sure that their needs are being met. Most importantly I live my faith by striving to keep all the commandments that Christ has given us because I know that he loves us and wants what is best for us. Its really hard and I have to repent a lot but I know its worth it.
