Hi I'm Stewart

I Breathe Carolina, I Go Periscope, I Love Automatic, I'm friends with the Gorillaz, I rock Gold House, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 19 years old and I live in the beautiful country of Canada! I'm serving an LDS mission as one of those fine looking guys in white. I love my ties, I have mission thighs, and I'm only allowed to hang with guys. I love music in almost every form. From electronic to country, or classical to screamo. I just love it all. But all I listen to now is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Mindy Jarvis! I love movies like a fat kid loves cake. Back home I would watch 15 a week! Now I watch the restoration, finding faith in Christ, and the testaments. I played lacrosse for 9 years. Mid-field and crease attack man. It is Canada's national sport and yet I have only seen one kid with a stick. Weird... It's all about hockey here.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a mormon? Well some could say it is because I was born this way, but that is not why I AM a mormon. I am a mormon because the restored gospel makes sense on an intellectual level and on a spiritual level. I have spent countless hours studying and there are no flaws. It is incredibly simple and yet incomprehensibly profound! As I have studied by the spirit, both my mind and soul have been enlightened. I have come to a more perfect knowledge of my Savior and his divinity. The Savior and His teachings have changed my life and have given me so much hope and happiness in my life. I am a mormon because I have been blessed by the power of God, exercised by the authority of righteous men therein. I have developed a personal relationship with Him that created me and Him that has redeemed me from my fallen state.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying on the straight and narrow path. Or at least I try my best. The only way to stay on the path is to follow the teachings of an inspired prophet of God, daily scripture study, and constant prayer. I have chosen to serve God and my fellow brothers and sisters by serving a mission in the Canada, Toronto Mission. I love it! I live my faith by inviting others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

NO! I am currently serving in the wonderful city of Toronto on my mission. If you know Toronto at all you know the multiculturalism here. I walk on the streets and ride the buses every single day, and the majority of the people are not white. The majority are not even first generation Canadian. I have seen people from all over the world in all shapes, colors, and sizes. Every single person has the same opportunity to accept the gospel. Every single righteous man has the opportunity to hold the priesthood. Every single righteous woman has the opportunity to have the priesthood present in her life to experience the blessings and joys therein. God is not biased, His church is not biased, and neither am I. We are all sons and daughters of a God that loves us. We are all heirs to His kingdom. Show more Show less
