Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in Salt Lake City. My passion is soccer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently finished serving as a missionary for the Ecuador Guayaquil North Mission. I am currently a student at Brigham Young University, studying neuroscience. I love playing soccer and dirt biking with my father. I also enjoy being able to serve others and to try and bring them the same happiness that I enjoy as a member of this faith. I serve with the local Red Cross Hispanic Outreach group, which allows me to stay connected to the Hispanic people that I have come to love.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family, but there came a time in my life when I had to decide for myself. I am a Mormon because I believe in the Book of Mormon, and that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I learned for myself through prayer and personal studying. It wasn't easy, but I became convinced of the truthfulness of this church, and I know that anyone who sincerely wants to know can too. I have also seen that the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ bring true stability and happiness, especially in a difficult world such as ours. It gives me purpose and direction, and most of all, it gives me perspective.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example of the believers, as we are taught in Timothy 4:12. I strive to develop Christ-like attributes, such as patience, charity, humility, and faith. Scripture study is also a daily activity that brings me closer to the Lord. I try to be a friend to everyone.
