Hi I'm William

I grew up in Provo, Utah, I own a construction company, I enjoy the amazing outdoors, and I love serving others.

About Me

I started a construction company in April of 2014. I felt inspired of God that I needed to start this company so I could have the means to retire at 40. Many may ask why I want to retire at 40, some may think its impossible, some may think I want to do it so I don't have to work. I want to retire at 40 so I can serve missions for the LDS faith with my family wherever God may will it. I want to do all I can to help others have peace in their lives, whether that is through teaching them the gospel, or being their friend. All I do in life is so I can better the world, better my future family, and better myself. I love the outdoors, I organize outdoor events for others to come and enjoy the outdoors, I love spending time with my family, my friends (who are my family I have picked), and I also enjoy meeting new people and seeing what their dreams and desires are in life.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 9 years old I took the missionary lessons. My parents were not active in the church and I spent from the age of 9 on going to church by myself most of the time with spouts of activity from my parents. I didn't have a full testimony or understanding till later in life. When I was 16 years old one of my friends challenged me to read the Book of Mormon and gain a testimony of its divinity, they would do the same. As I did this it took me several months to gain a testimony from the Holy Ghost. One day while bearing my testimony to a group of people I testified that I knew the Book of Mormon was true. When I sat down I said to myself "I don't know that, why did I say that?" Then right there the Spirit testified to me that I knew the Book of Mormon was true and that the spirit telling me to testify of its divinity was a testimony for me that the Book of Mormon is true. As I have persevered in life through hard trials I have seen my faith grow, and as my faith has grown the more sense it has made to the carnal mind as well as my spirit that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints is the true church on the earth. Joseph Smith was called as a prophet by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to bring back again to the earth ALL of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Before my mission I participated in organizing many community service opportunities. One was collecting turkey vouchers that were in 50 cent and $1 increments. We collected enough to be able to provide over 60 turkeys to families in need. I also organized service projects such as helping out the elderly with yard work, and helping at the soup kitchen, and at other charitable events for organizations. I received the Kiwanis Community Service award for my service in the community. This is by far my favorite part of living my faith in Christ, is helping others, and the community.
