Hi I'm Mitch

I enjoy BOATING, campfires on SAND DUNES, and the smallest things in life give me the greatest joy. I'm a MORMON.

About Me

One of my favorite things to do is lounging around. Just spending time with the family and eating some good food. There's no better time than hanging out with the family. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone and had a blast doing random things to find stuff to do. A common thing I did when I was growing up was going 4-wheeling up in the mountains. I've always enjoyed being outdoors and seeing new amazing things that God has created for us. I also went to a year of college at Utah State and enjoyed having new friends who will last for a life time. I've been to many places around the country and have really enjoyed seeing the different ways people live their lives. I really believe that we can return back to our Heavenly Father some day if we follow His commandments. He loves us and has provided a plan for us to return to live with Him.

Why I am a Mormon

A lot of people have told me you're only Mormon because you were raised that way. Personally for me that is not true. Yes, I was raised by goodly parents who taught me the Gospel of Jesus Christ and paved the way to have a good life, but I strongly believe that the LDS church is true. I've felt it time and time again when the Holy Ghost has talked to me in brief moments that were life changing. Sometimes it's been reading my scriptures or saying my prayers etc. God gives us these brief moments to stay on the straight and narrow path so we can have eternal happiness. I believe also that God wouldn't leave us alone today there have been many times where I have gotten answers to my personal problems though our modern prophets today. This has strengthened me in times of personal grief and sorrow. Overall... the gospel makes life so much more discernible and desirable. It always has and I truly believe that if you read the Book of Mormon with real intent having faith in Christ you will come to know the gospel is true by the power of the Holy Ghost. The Lord has made us this promise to each and everyone of us, and He always keeps his promises...

How I live my faith

I live my religion by trying to follow the commandments my Heavenly Father has given me. Through the Bible, Book of Mormon, and our modern day Prophets I believe the gospel is really the only thing that can bring us true happiness in this life. It has always made a whole lot of sense to me that families can be together forever. I've held different callings in the church and I truly believe that the Lord sees fit to give us trials. It's not always easy in this life, but He wants us to become better people so that we can be prepared to live in his presence again. I've spent many hours providing service in the church and in my community. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints strongly believes that when we are in the service of our fellow beings we are only in the service of our God. I truly believe that we can make the world a better place, and there's no one better to do that than yourself.
