Hi I'm Rosalyne Ikafanga

Born and raised in Australia. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Born and raised of goodly parents, and currently pursuing further studies of my passion. I am of Tongan descent belonging to an eternal family consisting of 9 children. I enjoy spending my time with those I love dearly, and being inspired continually by great literature and music. I try my best daily to live faithfully according to the commandments of God in preparation to one day reap the eternal blessing of living perfectly with my prosterity.

Why I am a Mormon

Around 1970's-1980's in the friendly islands of Tonga, my dearest Grandmother invited the missionaries into her home. Because of her faith, she accepted the gospel into her life, along with my Grandfather and their children, which included my mother. Growing up as a child I watched my mother love and care for my siblings and I. She would share with us stories of Jesus, help us sing primary songs and teach us how to say our prayers. My mother being the best exemplar of faith, coupled with my Father's change and acceptance of gospel principles instilled within my heart, a seed of belief that there was a greater source of power that lived among us each day. I came to learn for myself, throughout my teenage years and ultimately adulthood, that he was a God, and the church that his son Jesus Christ created upon the earth, had been restored once again. I am filled with immense gratification that I am among the lucky ones who have a knowledge of its truth!

How I live my faith

One of the crowning characteristics the Saviour epitomised during his ministry on earth was charity. By increasing my knowledge and obtaining an education, I will be lead to encounter immeasurable opportunities to serve others in need!
