Hi I'm Dillon

I have lived in Tennessee for all of my life, and I love to study up on all types of Sciences. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Science and the past has always been where I have loved studying about when I was little. I am second year in College going for a Bachelor in Geology. With one day wanting to turn that into a Paleontology degree. I have always tried to help every body that I could, and having an natural abilities in the science fields. I have been able to help people in classes that is supposed to be high levels in science. I have been a member since July 28 2011, and it has been a wonder experience for me. I am also the only member in my family, and that is hard sometimes. I know that by example, my family will see how much it has changed me for the better, and that will soften their hearts to accept to learn about the Gospel

Why I am a Mormon

It was the summer of 2011 and I was just looking through Facebook and Mormon.org ads was on every other page. I decided to click it to see what it was about. I had to like it to find out anything. I read a little and left. The next day a friend of mine asked me " YOU LIKE MORMON.ORG. I said yea, and we started talking. found out that she was LDS and she invited me to church. The first time I went was a fast and testimony. It was beautiful. after the first or second Sunday. I was reading the Book of Mormon and prayed that if what I am reading is true, send me a sign. I heard a voice tell me to wait till Sunday. I was thinking "okay". That Monday a sore on my tongue that was almost pitch black appeared. I was going to go to the doctor for it but I heard that voice again say wait till Sunday. So when Sunday came I could hardly eat anything without pain. I decided with myself that if nothing happened that I was going to the doctor for it. During Sacrament I ate the bread and it hurt, but not 5 minutes after I drank the water my pain was gone. The mark and everything was gone. It was an amazing feeling that came over me after that. I was almost in tears after that. Not long after that I was Baptized, and each day I grow even stronger in the Gospel and it is a wonderful feeling to know all of the wonderful Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that is around this planet of our. Thank you for reading and I have a testimony that no matter what we have done or what we think. Heavenly Father loves us all.

How I live my faith

I help any way that I can, whether it is a group helping or just me helping. I put all of my strength and energy into what ever I am working on. I help with Sunday School and the Young Adults. What I have found is that when you share a smile and a hug, you are able to brighten many lives with out ever saying a word.
