Hi I'm Kipp

I love to smile. I'm a missionary, a Disney fanatic and an uncle :) I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love hiking, repelling, and anything outdoors. Swimming and working out are also great past times I've had. I have three siblings, one who is married with a son and another kid on the way (shhhh, don't tell (; ). My brother and sisters are my best friends in the world. My parents are FANTASTIC and have been a huge influence in my life. I've spent the last several months serving as a missionary in the Edmonton area. My favorite superhero is Batman, and I play with Lego. I'm a former collegiate national champion in ballroom dancing. It's super fun! I love learning new types of dance and look forward to more opportunities to learn in the future. I love different rhythms and beats and how different types of music can change the mood of an area or situation.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to follow this gospel because I've felt the personal internal peace that it brings. I can say that I've felt the love of my Heavenly Father show itself as I've worked to know Him and His Son more. I know that by continuing to live the way I am and by keeping my faith focused on Jesus Christ I can keep having happiness and comfort. It's a much more fulfilling life than anything else I've ever experienced. I'm happier now than I have been previously, and that's due to the love my Savior has shown for me. It's an amazing thing :).

How I live my faith

My favorite thing to do in the church is working with the youth. I love the enthusiasm and the love they have for the gospel. I think in helps me personally when I get to work with the youth because it reminds me of my two younger siblings who I don't get to spend a lot of time with because we live so far apart. I like to think that even though I may not be able to be the best big brother to my own siblings, at least i can help someone else while I'm around them. In a very real sense I've been able to see them the way Heavenly Father sees them and love them, at least in part, the way that He does.
