Hi I'm Cheryl Freeze

Hi, I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the Church. I have always lived in the east.

About Me

I am the mother of six. I love them with all my heart. Being a mother is very gratifying. I enjoy writing poetry. I have experienced things the Lord never intended that we should experience. My heart is filled such love for my Savior and His Atonement. I am healing because my Savior atoned for those experiences. His Atonement covers every thing imaginable.

Why I am a Mormon

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, the light, and the life. Why would I choose any other path but His? There is but one course back to my Eternal Father - through Jesus Christ and His Atoning sacrifice. I choose Jesus Christ as my Master. I choose membership in His only true and living Church on the face of the earth. I choose to believe and have faith in Jesus Christ. I choose the follow the living prophet President Thomas S. Monson. I choose eteranl life in the Kingdom of God. I choose to express my gratitude and testimony with any who would like me to share it with them. I choose to love all of my Eternal Father's children. I choose to love, serve, and forgive all my fellow brothers and sisters on this beautiful earth created by my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

The gospel is essential in my life. My life is centered in Christ. I would be lost without Him and His gospel, atonement, and the healing power in His wings. My Father in Heaven means all to me in this life. I want to go home to Him. I need Jesus Christ to do that. I study the scriptures every day. The Book of Mormon answers every question that comes to me. I may have to wait until the Lord can help me to the point of finding and understanding the answer, but the answers do come. I pray every day. Prayer is my personal time with my Eternal Father. My relationship with Him is my reason to keep doing life here. It is worth it to me. I will go home one day, because I choose it. Service to others is and essential part of mortality. Serve others to overcome what ails you. Charity begets blessings and emotional well-being. In the name of Jesus Chrst. Amen.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Cheryl Freeze
Marriage is the hardest work you will ever do. It should be this way. What you work the hardest at is always the most valuable, worthwhile, joyful, rewarding, and eternal thing you can possibly experience especially with the one you want to share all eternity with. Jesus Christ is how you will have a successful relationship in marriage. He has the eternal plan that creates everlasting marriages. All things equal and in common in marriage binds the two of you together in harmony. Your faith in Jesus Christ will increase as you love, serve, and forgive one another. Jesus has taught us this making it more than essential in marriage. Marriage must always be present in an everlasting relationship. No relationship will survive without marriage before God. A happy marriage will always produce a happy family. When dad and mom are in harmony the family is in harmony. Harmony is achieved by faith in Jesus Christ and living His commandments and gospel openly for all to witness, especially your children. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Cheryl Freeze
When I bear testimony of Jesus Christ and His Gospel I am standing as a witness of those truths that I am testifying of. This is my testimony as poem: To Testify of Truth and Light I love to hear my prophets voices. They teach and counsel me with truth. Special witnesses of Jesus Christ- His Apostles testify and witness of His truth. My Prophet is a living testament Of my only true and living Head. I am a Latter-day Saint in The only true and living church of Jesus Christ. As a disciple of my Savior, Jesus Christ- I must be true and live His truth- I must be a light that shines on all. My light shines forth from deep within. When you believe you must make a stand. Draw your line in the sand. Show one and all you will be true; To all the truth and light you choose to serve. My conscience guides my actions daily. I must amend when imperfection wrongs; To satisfy my conscience - my heart and mind. I must have courage to stand for my beliefs. My prophets are my examples. I struggle to be like them in all. Their Christlike lives teach of Christ. My prophets example is Jesus Christ. As a disciple and follower of Christ- I testify and witness of Him- Who came to earth and atoned and redeemed- He is the Son of God - the Son of man. Jesus Christ bled and died for man. His life He freely gave for each of us. I must always testify as a witness Of all I know to be the truth and light. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Show more Show less
