Hi I'm Bheki S Hlatshwayo

I'm a family orientated Guy, grew up in South Africa, In a small town called Tembisa. and i love Honey, Hence Am such a sweet Guy!

About Me

Well i'm 21, and a missionary in England, London Mission. its really interesting how i became a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day saints, i smile everytime i talk about this. well i was 13years old, wen i joined the church, a very close friend of mine introduced me to this gospel. he invited me to church, didnt really feel good about going to church, till he invited me to an activity that they had. went there and i had the best time of my life, he then asked if missionaries could teach me, and i was like sure. they did teach me, and i accepted to be baptised. and was baptised on the 14th of august 2005. But what really lead me to being baptised was the love and support that i have received from my friend, i remember onetime he called me and asked me to come to his place, i went there and he took out 2 chairs and said well since the missionaries had asked you to read and pray about the book of mormon what we going to do today, is to read it together and pray together. didnt like the idea at first, but as we did that, i knew that being baptised was the right thing to do. for that i am greatful. I was the first one to be baptised in my family, i guess you could call me a pioneer in my family ''wink''.A year later My sister Got baptised, that was 2006, and 3years Later my mother was baptised aswel, and i had the previledge to baptise her on my birthday, that was the best birthday present heavenly father could ever give me.

Why I am a Mormon

whoa there are so many reasons why i am a mormon, but this i do KNOW, i am a mormon b-cos of the truthfulness that we have, for me the only Book that had answered the questions that i had, was the Book Of Mormon, this Book is realy inspired of God, hence its another testament of jesus christ. i believe in the organisation of this church, i believe in the Book of mormon being the corner stone of our religion. And i know that the joseph smith is the prophet of the restoration, and that we have a living prophet today who is THOMAS S MONSON, to guide us in this latter-days.. God lives, and He is our Father in Heaven, and yes He did send His only Begotten Son to die for our sins, if you dont believe me, then id suggest you ask him through prayer. there are so many reasons, why im a mormon, BUT one that makes me really happy is that i have been baptised by someone holding the proper priesthood authority of God, aaah nothing brings so much peace than that.

How I live my faith

My friend and i where direct neighbours he practically lived next door, so we would go to church everyday for different kinds of activities, tuesdays we had ''MUTUAL'', which was an activity we'd have as the youngmen of the church, every now and then we'd mix with the youngwomen, wich was so much fun. and wednesdays and thursdays we would have SEMINARY CLASS , where we would learn about the Gospel Principles, so we would always be at church, so we got in the habit of going to church so much that our neighbours would know where we where going, some would mock us but we never looked back. everyone that i am associated with knows that im a member of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints, is it really everyone ''thinking'' yes i think so. so when i was baptised 2005 my cousin made an announcement in class that i would be baptised on this certain date lol, i was a little embarrased, but that open an opportunity for me to tell those who where willing to listen something about the mormon church, and since then i wouldnt do anything wrong, they would guard my tongue and actions and they would correct me everytime i do something wrong, lol that was fustrating but i am greatful for that, and i am greatful for my cuzin for making that announcement, cause that taught me to never be ashamed of who i am, and what i believe in. i live my faith through example, im not the best example in the world but the small things that i do, i make sure they are legit

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Bheki S Hlatshwayo
No, we help anyone who is anyone. we always look for opportunities to serve at all times and we always do what we can to help those who are in need of our help. service goes hand in hand with having charity and when you have charity you always give with no expectations and you never choose who you give, and we also believe that ''when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your Lord'' mosiah 2;17. so fellow beings does not only apply to just mormons but every son and daughter of our Heavenly father..
