Hi I'm Trevor

I grew up in Farmington, UT. I love to play basketball. I'm a software developer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to beautiful wife for 1 year now. I am a college student studying computer science with only a few semesters left. I love to play basketball. My wife and I have a small kitty that we love. I work as a software developer for a small company. I grew up as a member of the church and have always firmly believed in it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church all my life. I always had a firm belief that what I was learning in church was true. When I was a teenager I read the account of Joseph Smith being visited by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and felt the Holy Ghost confirm to me that what I was reading was true. I then knew for myself that Joseph Smith was not lying and that he really was visited by God and Jesus Christ. Since then I have sometimes felt the same type of confirming feeling from the Holy Ghost about other things as well, including that the Temple is the house of God, the Book of Mormon is true, the living prophet and apostles are called of God, and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real and love me.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to church each Sunday and being around people who help me to gain more faith. In my ward, I currently serve as the secretary to the bishop. I help schedule appointments for other members of the ward to meet with him. I attend meetings with the bishop and his counselors and we discuss how we can best help everyone in the ward, especially those who may be struggling through trials. During the week, I try to follow Christ's teachings and love my neighbors and fellow men. I try to always be willing to help others out when they need it. I strive be kind, charitable, and honest in school and work.
